The Wireless SIP Phone -SIP Handset is a wireless LAN phone that offers private individuals
and enterprises benefits of greater mobility, cost savings, increased productivity and enhanced
efficiency. It is an innovative and highly integrated wireless phone incorporating voice over
IP with IEEE 802.11b wireless LAN technologies and is compliant with IETF SIP (Session Initiation
Protocol) standard.
The Wireless SIP Phone is an excellent voice communication device for homes, offices, factory,
campuses, branch offices, hospitals and warehouses, where mobility is a must. With just a simple SIP
registration to either the ITSP (Internet Telephony Service Provider) or to NETVOX WIFI-PBX, or to other
SIP compliant IP PBX, users can make outgoing calls and receive incoming calls with the SIP Handset
at any location.
In a wireless communication environment, it is the phone that makes the difference. With user-friendly
menu driven interface, the Wireless SIP Phone offers many functions that appeal to both the
novice and the advanced users. Features like Phone Book, Call Hold, Call Transfer, Call Forward,
Caller ID, Call Blocking, and Do-Not-Disturb make the NETVOX Wireless SIP Phone an
indispensable productivity tool for users in any environment, at home or in the office. To make a call,
users may choose to enter a complete phone number, an extension, or a SIP URL, or to dial directly
from an entry in Call History or in Phone Book. A call can also be established directly in peer-to-peer
mode, without an intervening IP PBX, between two SIP Handset, or between a SIP handset
and any other SIP compliant phone.
The Wireless SIP Phone - SIP Handset provides two voice channels, with which users can put
a call on hold while making another phone call. Phone communications can be secured with the voice
encryption feature included in the SIP Handset.
